Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Services Assistant to join our team at Shoup Legal. A Professional Law Co. As an Office Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our office operations and ensuring the smooth delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and send outgoing mail, packages, and envelopes
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls to team members
  • Send appointment reminders via email, text, and phone call
  • Maintain inventory stock of office supplies and reorder as needed
  • Provide front desk support and serve as a backup to the receptionist
  • Perform general office duties, including IT issues, moving office furniture, and setting up new equipment
  • Run office errands, such as delivering client documents and court filings
  • Maintain and organize off-site storage
  • Oversee facilities, including maintaining break room cleanliness and performing liaison functions between the firm and vendors
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; relevant degree or certification preferred
  • Prior experience in a law firm preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of office procedures
  • Ability to effectively use and maintain office equipment
  • Excellent typing skills, up to 30 wpm
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Great organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work successfully in a repetitive and fast-paced environment
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Highly reliable with excellent attendance
Compensation

$18-$20 per hour
