Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Office Coordinator in a busy OB/GYN practice. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments, answering telephones, and performing routine administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our medical facility.Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure timely and efficient care
  • Answer telephones and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Perform routine administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Assist with clinical tasks, such as preparing patients for exams and procedures
  • Communicate with insurance companies to verify coverage and process claims
  • Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure a positive patient experience
Requirements
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant or other qualified certification
  • Previous experience in a medical office, preferably OB/GYN
  • Familiarity with medical insurance verification and billing procedures
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
About Our PracticeOur practice is a solo OB/GYN office with a friendly and supportive team. We offer a part-time schedule with 25-30 hours per week, Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, and alternating Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30am to 12:30pm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work part-time and have a great work-life balance.
