Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary objective of this role is to collaborate effectively as a team member to engage with client accounts and foster strong relationships. You will be tasked with expanding the sales and customer base for all products and services available within your designated territory.

Experience in lubricants is advantageous, with a background in industrial and energy sectors being a plus. Compensation includes a base salary along with additional incentives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular client visits and maintain ongoing management of customer accounts.
  • Establish and nurture customer relationships within assigned territories to secure strategic advantages with key decision-makers, preserve existing revenue, and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Provide comprehensive feedback reports to your supervisor regarding customer interactions.
  • Adhere to company policies and operational procedures.
  • Gain proficiency in CRM software (Microsoft Dynamics) with confidence and clarity.
  • Proactively reach out to potential new clients and expand presence in local markets.
  • Follow up on customer quotes and proposals.
  • Review monthly budgets and expenditures with your supervisor to align with company objectives.
  • Represent the organization at trade exhibitions and industry events.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred knowledge of lubricants; experience with frac and rigs is beneficial.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in email and computer operations.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Understanding of standard business practices related to purchasing, pricing, terms, shipping, taxes, and payments for products and services.
  • Ability to learn and retain product-specific information to effectively communicate features and benefits to clients.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented, competitive with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, along with a proven track record in sales.

Travel Requirements: Travel within the sales territory is mandatory; additional travel may be necessary.
