ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences is in search of a highly skilled Senior Engineer I with an active Secret Clearance to contribute to our initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective communication skills (both written and verbal), possess strong interpersonal abilities, and exhibit self-motivation and innovation in a dynamic environment. A valid Secret Security Clearance is required.


The selected individual will engage in product sustainment, development, laboratory support, and engineering services aligned with the Operational Flight Program (OFP), Test Program Set (TPS), Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, and Mission Support (MS) sectors within the Software Maintenance Group. Responsibilities include assessing existing systems, planning large-scale system projects, and managing the procurement, installation, and support of network communications, encompassing LAN/WAN systems.

Key Responsibilities:


• Deliver technical assistance to external clients, including System Program Offices and user activities.


• Facilitate acquisition support, independent verification and validation, and testing of externally sourced products.


• Conduct consulting, research, analysis, and reverse-engineering studies, along with other supportive tasks.


• Perform standard system administration duties, including server installations, application installations, patch management, and problem resolution.


• Configure, test, and maintain LAN/WAN equipment and services, such as switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.


• Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues, including connectivity and traffic utilization.


• Develop technical specifications and design documentation.


• Execute performance tuning and troubleshooting.


• Provide infrastructure services across various domains: storage networking, operating systems, network security, directory services, and server virtualization, utilizing backup and restore procedures.


• Offer emergency recovery support either on-site or remotely.


• Conduct on-site, in-house Product Knowledge Transfer Sessions as required.


• Collaborate with stakeholders and manage project teams internally and externally.


• Contribute to the Government's Life Cycle sustainment efforts through maintenance and analysis.

Work Schedule:

  • Facilities operate from 6am to 6pm, allowing flexibility in setting hours with customer leadership.
  • Flex time is available during the two-week pay cycle to accommodate appointments without using PTO.
  • A compressed work schedule may be an option, subject to work center leadership discretion.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from an accredited institution.


• Minimum of 8 years of experience in areas such as Electronic Warfare, Radar, Sensors and Fusion, Communications, Navigation, Tactical Data Links, Information Assurance, Avionics, or Systems Integration.


• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.


• Enthusiasm for new technologies and adaptability to emerging trends.


• Proven ability to lead teams and manage development workloads.


Possess a Secret security clearance.
