Job Overview

BAE Systems is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to contribute to the ongoing support and maintenance of the USAF ICBM program.

The ICBM System Program Office is tasked with ensuring the safety, security, and reliability of the MM III weapon system as mandated by the warfighter (Air Force Global Strike Command). This initiative is recognized as the ICBM Sustainment Construct (ISC). The contract provides essential acquisition and technical sustainment engineering support, while also aiding in the training and development of government capabilities. This effort will enhance organic resources by delivering extensive expertise in system engineering and integration, risk management, technical assessments, acquisition program management, strategic development, organizational change management, and business analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a RSRV Engineer.
  • Develop test plans, documentation, and technical orders.
  • Assist Government Program Managers/Engineers and BAE RSRV Engineers.
  • Contribute to engineering specifications, user manuals, monthly reports, and engineering studies.
  • Conduct technical analyses and generate inputs for reviews and decision-making.
  • Provide advanced technical expertise and guidance in resolving complex hardware/software engineering challenges.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in systems integration and analysis of military hardware and software systems (2 years with a Master's degree or PhD).
  • At least 2 years of experience leading systems design, integration, and analytical projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Automated Test Equipment, particularly ICBM Test sets and RSRV Automated Test Sets.
  • Familiarity with RSRV Hardware.
  • Experience across various engineering disciplines.
  • Proficiency in acquisition documentation.
  • Experience in maintaining military equipment.
  • Understanding of Air Force planning systems (Impresa, 4L, DO43, and 5M).
  • Comprehension of the ICBM workload.

Compensation and Benefits:

The full-time salary range for this position is $105,120. This range is based on market pay structures, and individual salaries are influenced by various factors including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
