Job Description:

SLC Management is a leading global asset management firm providing innovative and diversified investment solutions to institutional investors. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Fixed Income Analyst Co-op to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the management of the private fixed income portfolio, including 144A and traditional private placements, through detailed financial and credit analysis.
  • Develop detailed written annual reviews.
  • Prepare management reports on the status and performance of the portfolio.
  • Evaluate potential investments for portfolio suitability by conducting company and industry research, comparable analysis, and due diligence.
Desired Skills:
  • Understanding of the fundamental principles of debt and equity markets and instruments.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements, calculate a broad range of financial ratios, and interpret and communicate results.
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft applications, proficient use of Bloomberg and Capital IQ are a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable interacting and leading discussion with internal and client senior leaders.
  • Ability to problem solve and think conceptually.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively; eager to take on responsibility.
  • Established organizational abilities and time management skills; ability to multitask.
Required Qualifications:
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program.
  • Ability to work full-time hours a week between January - June 2025.
  • Balanced experiences in academics and extra-curricular activities.
