Human Resources Manager

Care Transit is a leading provider of children's transportation services in North Central Phoenix. We're seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource management, including strategic planning, policy development, employee relations, recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment laws.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
- Policy Development: Create and maintain comprehensive HR policies and procedures to ensure a fair and equitable workplace.
- Employee Relations: Foster a positive and productive work environment by managing employee concerns, resolving disputes, and promoting employee engagement through team building activities and events.
- Recruitment and Selection: Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent. Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and make hiring recommendations.
- Training and Development: Onboard newly hired staff, identify training needs, develop training programs, and oversee employee development initiatives to enhance skills and performance.
- Compensation and Benefits: Manage compensation programs and benefits packages.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable Arizona employment laws, including labor regulations, equal opportunity laws, and safety standards.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
- HR Metrics: Track and analyze HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Arizona employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees and management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to obtain an IVP Fingerprint Clearance card.
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite systems.
