Job Summary

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the human resources function, providing guidance and leadership to ensure a cohesive human capital management environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Management: Supervise and manage HR department personnel, ensuring effective employee relations and counseling.
  • Compliance: Ensure company employment, recruiting, safety, labor relations, personnel, and equal opportunity policies and practices comply with federal and state regulations.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage benefit insurance open enrollment, 401K information sessions, and other employee communication sessions.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employee questions, resolve work-related problems, and serve as a link between management and employees.
  • Training and Development: Oversee employee training records and coordinate human resources source documents, forms, and content.
  • Recruitment: Screen and interview candidates for open positions, working with hiring managers to recruit and staff departments.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, with 3+ years of HR experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent written, analytic, and oral communication skills; strong interviewing and candidate assessment capabilities; ITAR compliance; bilingual a plus.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, carry, bend, stoop, reach, turn, twist, push, pull, flex, and extend fingers with opposition.
