Job Title: HR Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team at GTN Technical Staffing. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the human resources department, providing guidance and leadership to ensure a coherent human capital management environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise human resources department personnel
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Manage open enrollment, 401k information sessions, and other employee communication sessions
  • Administer workers compensation claims and reporting
  • Effective employee relations and counseling
  • Administration of company's Affirmative Action Program
  • Oversight of Employee Performance Evaluation process
  • Oversight of Employee Training Records
  • Coordination and management of human resources source documents, forms, and content
  • Oversight of employee physical and electronic files

Requirements:

  • Five to ten years of human resources experience, including at least four years at a management level
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field
  • SPHR Certification preferred
  • Excellent written, analytic, and oral communication skills in English, bilingual a plus
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment capabilities
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and ability to work collaboratively
  • Planning, development, implementation, and documentation of new policies and procedures
  • Management of temporary staffing vendor relationships and labor
  • Excellent skills in employee orientation, development, and training
  • Familiarity with and certified (desired) to perform federal E-Verify screening
