Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Assistance: Support veterinarians during medical procedures and examinations, ensuring optimal patient care.
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline clinic workflows to enhance patient intake, discharge processes, and follow-up care.
  • Quality Control: Establish and uphold quality assurance measures to meet veterinary standards and regulations.
  • Inventory Oversight: Manage inventory levels and participate in stock control activities.
  • Client Relations: Maintain effective communication with clients regarding their pets' care and treatment plans.
  • Staff Training: Provide continuous training and mentorship to enhance the skills of veterinary technicians.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any operational challenges within the clinic.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with veterinarians and administrative staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, including documentation and safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a veterinary clinical setting.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team motivation.
  • Proficient in veterinary medical procedures and diagnostic techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
