Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Title and Registration Specialist to join our team at Swift Transportation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for processing and managing the timely and accurate titling and registration of tractors and trailers on behalf of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Titling and Registration: Process, track, distribute, and account for a high volume of titles and/or registrations, adhering to established processes and procedures.
  • International Registration Plan (IRP) Management: Process and distribute IRP requirements for all tractor fleets, ensuring adherence to state guidelines and timelines.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to drivers and internal/external parties regarding licensing/registration, titles, or other related matters.
  • Problem-Solving: Develop proactive solutions to unique and challenging licensing/registration/titling questions and provide timely feedback to leadership.
  • Cost Savings and Efficiency: Identify and suggest potential cost savings and driver retention initiatives to improve department efficiency and resource utilization.
  • Permit Ordering: Order permits from states for tractors and trailers.
  • Special Projects: Participate in departmental ad hoc/special projects as required.
  • Team Collaboration: Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that facilitates business operations and meets company demands and expectations.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Prior experience with Motor Carrier/IRP title & registration transactions or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Certifications: Must possess ADOT certifications necessary to process title and registration transactions on behalf of an authorized third party, or be willing to obtain such certifications within 90 days of hire.
  • Education: High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills are essential. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, as well as basic office equipment, is required.
