Job Overview:

Position Summary:

The Front Desk Monitor plays a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors and residents. This position is responsible for managing the front entrance, answering incoming calls, and providing essential administrative support to both staff and management. The ideal candidate will exhibit outstanding customer service skills while greeting visitors and homeowners, both over the phone and in person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality receptionist services to all on-site property needs, ensuring a positive experience for inbound callers, visitors, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with the Administrative Support team and the On-site Community Manager to efficiently oversee the front reception area and manage incoming calls.
  • Assess inbound calls to direct them appropriately.
  • Welcome all visitors and homeowners, identifying their immediate needs.
  • Monitor and manage pickups and deliveries.
  • Assist in supervising activities and events, including setup and breakdown as required.
  • Submit maintenance requests for equipment or facilities needing repair.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work areas and facilities.
  • Provide supervision and engaging activities in the Kids Zone for children aged 6 months and older.
  • Support the Lifestyle Director in organizing Special Events and Activities.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

  • Proficient in gathering information from callers and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritizing effectively.
  • Strong organizational and tracking skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Proficient in utilizing computer programs and company database systems, including MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), as well as internet and email systems.
  • Ability to interact positively and effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of management and staff.
  • Collaborative and cooperative approach within the department and across other departments.
  • Experience managing different age groups in the Kids Zone.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Utilizing a computer at a workstation in an office setting.
  • Walking throughout the property and facilities as necessary.
  • Setting up, taking down, and stacking tables and chairs.
  • Position may involve various physical activities, including sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing up to 25 lbs. or more.
