The Front Desk Monitor plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This position is responsible for managing the front entrance, answering phone calls, and ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality reception services to all visitors, callers, and vendors.
- Collaborate with the Administrative Support team and Community Manager to maintain an organized reception area.
- Assess incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
- Welcome visitors and homeowners, addressing their immediate needs.
- Oversee deliveries and pickups to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in organizing and supervising community events and activities.
- Submit maintenance requests for any equipment or facility issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the reception area and other assigned spaces.
- Provide supervision and engaging activities in the Kids Zone for children aged 6 months and older.
- Support the Lifestyle Director in planning and executing special events.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Capability to assist administrative staff with varying demands.
- Proficient in gathering information from callers and visitors efficiently.
- Adept at multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office and email systems.
- Effective collaboration and interpersonal skills with all levels of staff.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing diverse age groups in childcare settings.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a workstation and use a computer.
- Mobility to walk throughout the facility as needed.
- Capability to set up and dismantle furniture for events.
- Physical tasks may include lifting and moving objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two or more years of experience in a receptionist, administrative support, or customer service role.
- Experience working with children is advantageous.
