Job Summary

This is a moderately responsible position that involves providing planning and program assistance in areas of Aging and Disability Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing human service programs such as health, mental health, and aging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement human service programs such as health, mental health, and aging.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance to contractors and other providers relative to services pertaining to the Kentucky Caregiver Program.
  • Assessment and Support: Provide assessment, support, training, and/or family consultation to caregivers via any means or modality that works for the grandparent or caregiver.
  • Community Awareness: Facilitate community awareness of available services through public meetings, media presentations, correspondence, personal contact, and workshops.
  • Resource Linkages: Assist in establishing resource linkages among partner agencies to ensure accessibility and coordinate program efforts.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in human services, social work, or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in developing and implementing health and human service-related programs.
  • Skills: Ability to provide technical assistance, write and speak effectively, and work under limited supervision.

  • Professionalism: Interact professionally with other employees, customers/clients, outside agencies, and the community.
  • Teamwork: Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
