Responsibilities:
Job Purpose


The Clubhouse Operations Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the repair and preventative maintenance needs of the clubhouse infrastructure, equipment, and surrounding grounds.

Clubhouse Operations Supervisors thrive on leading their teams to enhance course operations and are adept at executing semi-skilled construction tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Schedule preventative maintenance and other repairs

• Organize and oversee subordinate staff members

• Conduct facility maintenance and housekeeping repairs, including but not limited to: electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, building equipment, carpentry, special projects, and other related areas

• Troubleshoot technical maintenance issues

• Facilitate regular safety meetings

• Schedule and/or supervise external contractors

• Collaborate closely with the sales and event team to coordinate special events or functions requiring facility maintenance and/or interdepartmental coordination

• Additional duties may be assigned by management

Qualifications:
Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in golf course management

• At least 1 – 2 years of experience managing direct reports, preferably within the golf industry

• Strong communication skills with co-workers and management

• Bilingual communication abilities in English and Spanish

• Proficient in computer and mechanical skills

• Proven time management, budgeting, organization, and prioritization skills with successful multi-tasking experience

• Relevant licenses for regulatory compliance

• Capability to operate all equipment utilized for maintenance

• Valid driver's license

Education


• High School Diploma required (Specialty / Technical Training preferred) along with 2 years of related experience in a/c, heating, electrical, plumbing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working Conditions

• Days and hours of work vary based on schedule and business needs

• Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required


While performing the duties of this role, the employee may be required to stand, walk, read, hear, talk, balance, climb, use hands, use fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, smell, push or pull.

The employee may need to move or lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.


While performing the duties of this role, the employee will work both indoors and outdoors and may be exposed to extreme weather conditions, including wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, sharp objects, extreme heat, and/or open flame.

The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
