This pivotal position will involve close collaboration with our HR department and leadership to identify and secure top talent across a variety of roles, while also contributing to strategic workforce planning and reporting.

Position Summary:

The Recruitment Specialist will take charge of assessing staffing requirements, crafting and executing recruitment strategies, and overseeing the entire hiring process. Responsibilities include developing job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding of new hires. The role also entails compiling and presenting recruitment metrics and reports to leadership to aid in informed decision-making and workforce management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR and leadership to outline job requirements, competencies, and essential skills for open positions.
  • Formulate and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates.
  • Draft job advertisements and manage postings across various platforms, including job boards and social media.
  • Screen applications, conduct interviews, and manage the candidate selection process.
  • Perform background checks and reference verifications, and negotiate employment offers.
  • Collaborate with leadership to fulfill workforce planning and reporting needs.
  • Maintain a robust candidate pipeline for future hiring requirements.
  • Generate regular reports on recruitment activities, outcomes, and performance metrics.
  • Engage in networking, job fairs, and recruitment events to discover potential candidates.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in recruitment within the construction sector is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting, with a proven track record of candidate placements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage candidates and leadership.
  • Proficient in HRIS, ATS, and recruitment software (Jobvite preferred).
  • Capability to create and analyze recruitment metrics and reports.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
