POSITION: Nashville Regional Mobilizer

REPORTS TO: Lead Regional Mobilizer

MISSION STATEMENT:

POSITION SUMMARY: Enhance GEM's Mobilization and Church Engagement efforts in the Nashville region and its surroundings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and cultivate new mobilization opportunities within the area.
  • Build and reinforce relationships with essential churches, educational institutions, and ministries.
  • Participate in mission conferences locally and as needed.
  • Initiate outreach calls within the region and beyond.
  • Maintain communication with leads, contacts, applicants, and appointees from initial contact through deployment.
  • Meet expectations for managing contacts using Salesforce.
  • Guide and mentor University Mobilizers.
  • Engage in weekly discussions with supervisors and the US Mobilization team.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of the Ten2 project.
  • Mobilize, train, co-lead, and debrief one short-term team annually.
  • Support the organization and execution of local church events and Discovery Days.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This role operates in a hybrid office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as laptops, smartphones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and scanners.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

While fulfilling job duties, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly. This role may occasionally require lifting office supplies and equipment up to 20 pounds. Specific vision capabilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS:

This is a full-time role with flexible days and hours.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

This position may involve up to 25% travel, including some international travel.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A BS/BA degree from an accredited institution; an MBA or MA/MS in a related field is preferred.
