We are currently looking for a remarkable Customer Service and Warehouse Specialist to join our team. The Customer Service and Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for delivering various support services, including assisting walk-in customers, processing sales transactions, and performing material handling tasks such as receiving, loading/unloading materials, assembling customer orders, and conducting inventory checks. Daily operation of forklift and/or crane equipment may be required.

Key Responsibilities

Engage in a variety of customer service and warehouse operations at our facility.

Essential Duties

  • Provide customer service by assisting customers with their orders, answering inquiries, offering samples, and completing sales transactions.
  • Address and resolve customer issues, including returns and order discrepancies.
  • Perform office administration tasks such as processing payments, reconciling cash boxes, preparing bank deposits, and maintaining customer records.
  • Manage product orders by entering customer requests, creating orders, and ensuring stock replenishment.
  • Prepare sales slips and produce daily sales reports.
  • Execute warehouse duties, including assembling customer orders, verifying outbound orders for accuracy, conducting inventory checks, and maintaining product displays.
  • Handle receiving tasks such as unloading materials, processing shipments, and managing customer returns.
  • Operate crane and forklift equipment safely.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment through regular maintenance and safety practices.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or incidents to management.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service and warehouse operations;
  • Experience operating crane and forklift equipment.
Skills Required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Proficient in math and computer usage;
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on customer service and safety.

While performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with arms. Physical demands include walking, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 70 lbs. Team lifting is required for heavier items. Vision requirements include close and peripheral vision, with the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
