Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Living Spaces. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring seamless transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operations Support: Assist the Operations Supervisor in maintaining the cash office and operations counter, adhering to standard work procedures.
  • Training and Development: Complete and demonstrate proficiency in all company training modules, ensuring effective execution of standard work.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure seamless execution of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Guest Engagement: Greet and engage guests on the sales floor, promoting a positive and welcoming environment.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring efficient stockroom operations.
  • Problem Resolution: Collaborate with the Store Manager to resolve guest escalations, returns, and discounts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Cash Handling: Execute cash office procedures with precision, adhering to standard work guidelines.
  • Asset Protection: Establish a self-audit routine to ensure compliance with asset protection policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year of retail experience in a direct customer interactive environment required. 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient experience in Microsoft Office programs, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills.
