Customer Relationship Manager

Twin City Die Castings is seeking a highly skilled Customer Relationship Manager to support our Watertown, SD plant. As the primary commercial contact, you will be responsible for maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships and promoting a positive image of TCDC to our clients.
This role will involve managing the entire book of business on assigned accounts, including customer satisfaction and acceptable profit margins for TCDC. You will serve as the in-house expert on customer knowledge, forecasting, project life cycles, and product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and develop business relationships vital to the success of assigned accounts
- Coordinate customer visits and participate in regular business reviews with customers and TCDC management
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts, and communicate account status to Senior Leadership
- Quote new part numbers and lead discussions on projects, quotes, and pricing
- Review product performance in production for process improvements, cost reduction, and pricing to meet gross margin expectations
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety rules, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
- BS/BA preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 5 years of experience in sales/customer service/project management
- Sales/Account Management experience, including development of quotations and proposals, is desired
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working experience and knowledge of the APQP process per the TS16949 automotive standard
