About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Management and Sales Development Program. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support business strategies to drive sales growth and optimize profitability
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through outstanding service
  • Build and maintain knowledge of our products to provide effective customer recommendations
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers
  • Complete store administration tasks and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Maintain a high level of store condition and visual merchandising standards
  • Support employee training and development, performance management, and corrective action
  • Respond to and resolve customer and employee complaints
  • Partner with Store Manager to make outside sales calls to increase market share
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Must have at least a bachelor's degree by the start of this development program
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have received at least a "meets expectations" rating on your most recent performance appraisal
  • If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your current position
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience working in a retail, sales, or customer service position
  • At least one year of experience in a leadership role, supervising others, or leading teams
  • Previous experience working in a team-oriented setting, including work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc.
  • Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Work experience using timekeeping and/or customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
