Position Overview

+ Directs the Quality Assurance (QA) team in their daily tasks, facilitating start-up QA meetings, maintaining quality boards (KPIs, Safety, and Quality) updates, and discussing safety and quality issues with team members.

+ Assigns and prioritizes daily responsibilities to QA auditors effectively to ensure customer satisfaction is met. This role serves as the primary contact for QA auditors and designates production lines for daily audits.

+ Participates in all relevant daily operations meetings concerning quality, whether in-person or virtual. Engages in problem-solving initiatives and recommends continuous improvement strategies.

+ Responsible for communicating and training all staff on new processes or changes, providing coaching to enhance the efficiency of the inspection procedures.

+ Oversees daily audits, ensuring that all audits are completed, documented, and submitted by QA auditors across all systems.

+ Develops new workplace instructions (WPIs) or updates existing ones as necessary. May also review and approve new QA processes, modifications to WPIs, and product postponements in the system.

+ Ensures compliance with all QA processes and WPIs, conducting process confirmation audits and any additional audits as required to guarantee adherence to established protocols. Monitors QA audits, cleaning standards, and 6S responsibility sheets, performing regular checks on the floor to identify and resolve deficiencies promptly.

+ Assists in the creation of parts in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) from start to finish, verifying that master data is accurately entered and aligned with the physical product and related master data in the system.

+ Acts as an active problem solver for both system and process-related challenges, possessing the ability to troubleshoot inventory issues and expedite communications to ensure timely product relocation.

+ Collaborates with Customer Service, Receiving, Quality, Marketing, Engineering, and other departments to effectively prioritize tasks. Provides support to the postponement team as needed with daily responsibilities.

+ Offers operational support by providing guidance and clarifications on quality requirements that must be met.

+ May undertake additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED is required.

+ Preferred knowledge and experience with the Bosch Production System (BPS).

+ Familiarity with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

+ Understanding of quality processes, product specifications, quality hold reasons, common product damages, and customer product requirements.

+ Previous experience in a team lead role with strong communication skills.
