Position Overview

As the Quality Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the QA team through their daily responsibilities. Your key duties will include:

  • Providing direction for daily QA activities, conducting start-up meetings, and maintaining quality assurance boards that track KPIs, safety, and quality updates.
  • Assigning and prioritizing tasks for QA auditors to ensure optimal customer satisfaction, acting as the primary contact for the team and designating production lines for daily audits.
  • Participating in all relevant daily operations meetings, whether in-person or virtual, and engaging in problem-solving initiatives to foster continuous improvement.
  • Communicating and training staff on new processes or changes, offering coaching to enhance the inspection process's effectiveness.
  • Overseeing daily audits, ensuring all reports are completed and submitted by QA auditors across all systems.
  • Creating and updating workplace instructions (WPIs) as necessary, and reviewing new QA processes and changes to existing WPIs.
  • Ensuring adherence to all QA processes and WPIs, conducting audits to confirm compliance, and monitoring cleaning standards and responsibility sheets.
  • Assisting in the creation of parts within the WMS system, verifying that master data is accurate and aligned with physical products.
  • Actively resolving system and process-related issues, troubleshooting inventory problems, and facilitating effective communication to expedite product movement.
  • Collaborating with departments such as Customer Service, Receiving, Quality, Marketing, and Engineering to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Providing operational support by clarifying quality requirements that must be met.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience with the Bosch Production System (BPS) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Excel, Word, Outlook, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Understanding of quality processes, product specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Previous experience in a team lead role with strong communication skills.
