About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Manager to join our team at Homans Associates. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for building and fostering strong customer relationships within your assigned region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Travel through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or discuss sales opportunities
  • Display or demonstrate product features and benefits to customers
  • Negotiate pricing and credit terms with customers
  • Prepare sales contracts and quotes for orders obtained
  • Estimate delivery dates and prepare reports of business transactions
  • Enter new customer data and sales data into our computer database
  • Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts and provide information to help set usage levels
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries and products
Requirements
  • Associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school
  • Minimum of three (3) years of HVAC Wholesale Distribution Sales experience
  • Technical knowledge of HVAC equipment, parts, supplies, and accessories
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse, purchasing, data processing, paper flow, and operations procedures
  • Ability to negotiate transactions and mediate situations among customers
  • Beginner to intermediate user of the Internet and Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
