Position Overview

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will oversee your designated accounts, focusing on enhancing product utilization, fostering customer connections, and driving overall satisfaction. Your primary goal will be to elevate the standing of RELX Inc. from both a retention and growth perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivating strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at senior levels.
  • Identifying, developing, and typically closing sales opportunities.
  • Generating demand for the company's offerings by increasing visibility among clients.
  • Meeting revenue objectives by maximizing account spend.
  • Conducting strategic discussions with senior management to align their needs with the company's product and service strategies.
  • Possessing a comprehensive understanding of business dynamics, financials, products/services, market trends, and client requirements; mentoring colleagues and being recognized as a subject matter expert.
  • Demonstrating the authority to negotiate product/service terms effectively.
  • Managing a medium-sized domestic territory.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of products and solutions, with the ability to apply various sales techniques.
  • Ability to interpret business challenges and adapt activities accordingly.
  • Serving as a resource for less experienced colleagues; may lead small projects with manageable risks.
  • Offering fresh perspectives on existing solutions, impacting customer and operational activities.
  • Proficient in presenting and explaining diverse products and solutions while addressing potential objections.
  • Must reside in the state of Colorado.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 1-2 times per month, with overnight stays of 1-3 nights.
