Job Title: Inside Sales Representative

At Ocenco Incorporated, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating quotes, developing comprehensive proposals, and communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit quotations tailored to specific customer needs.
  • Develop comprehensive proposals that ensure compliance with any required representations and certifications (Reps & Certs) indicated.
  • Request quotations from shipping and freight forwarding companies. Quote and fulfill non-standard customer requests.
  • Communicate with the prospective customer to understand appropriate product configuration requirements and objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, purchasing, and production, to ensure proposal accuracy and for product and lead times.
  • Assist in contract generation and management, ensuring all terms and conditions align with company policies and customer expectations.
  • Proactively follow up with customers to address questions, inform of order status from production to final delivery, and address any complaints or shipping concerns.
  • Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure accurate billing and timely collection from customers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and relevant documentation in CRM system.
  • Stay current with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive offerings to effectively position Ocenco's products in the market.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred, but not required).
  • Previous experience in sales, inside sales, or customer service is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in quotes, proposals, and contracts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • May require domestic and international travel

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
