Candidate Profile

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Developing the scope for technology assessments and establishing contractual agreements.
  • Contributing to the scientific knowledge base within TotalEnergies.
  • Facilitating effective transfer of technology insights across various departments.

  • Upholding a high standard of scientific expertise and representing TotalEnergies's leadership effectively.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
  • Doctorate in chemical engineering, ideally with a specialization in adsorption-based separation methods.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in CO2 capture technologies and methodologies.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in managing technical engineering projects.
  • Essential Soft Skills:
    • Innovative, pragmatic, and persuasive.
    • Ability to influence without direct authority.
    • Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational abilities.
    • Proficiency in English is mandatory.

ACTIVITIES:
  • Identifying technology developers through comprehensive scouting efforts.
  • Defining the project scope and structure of work.
  • Overseeing the contractual arrangements with developers.
  • Collaborating with engineering firms for design and assessment.
  • Conducting technical analyses, cost assessments, and risk evaluations.
  • Offering guidance to partners and advocating for HSE initiatives.
  • Keeping abreast of advancements in technology.
