Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our enterprise desktop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain all technology components in a facility, including desktops, laptops, printers, and software applications.
  • Schedule and perform PC, hardware, and peripheral equipment improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
  • Provide second-level support for the enterprise printing environment and act as an escalation point for end-user problems.
  • Act as a point of contact for vendor and IT installations at the site.
  • Assist in instructing customers in the operation and maintenance of systems and equipment.
  • Resolve hardware and software customer issues on company devices.
  • Document the operation and maintenance of systems and equipment.
  • Participate in technical business project plans and recommend standards for PC hardware and peripheral equipment.
  • Define how IT procedures can provide efficiencies for the business.
  • Follow Site Support Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Escalate technical issues to senior members of the team and provide emergency on-call support.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years of experience working in a production environment/corporate Desktop Support.
    • Experience with multiple desktop and laptop configurations in larger environments.
    • Proven ability to work independently as a sole IT support technician.
