The Senior Manager, Operations in Alliance Management will play a crucial role in supporting BeiGene's expanding Alliance Management team. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong organizational capabilities and effective communication skills across various functions and geographical locations. Attention to detail, alongside a strategic outlook, will be essential in establishing BeiGene as the partner of choice in the industry.
This role is designed to ensure consistent and high-quality operational execution by managing program initiatives that support BeiGene's growing portfolio of clinical supply alliances. Additionally, the position will contribute to key Alliance Management projects that foster cross-functional communication, transparency, and readiness for an expanding alliance portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Supply Agreement Management:
- Oversee clinical drug supply partnerships within BeiGene's expanding network of external clinical development collaborators.
- Drive program operations and process enhancements to optimize daily activities across internal functions and external partners.
- Collaborate with legal and business development teams to negotiate and manage primary supply agreements and related contracts.
- Facilitate regular governance meetings to ensure compliance and alignment with project goals.
- Support the management of development-related contracts and negotiate terms with third-party vendors.
- Act as a primary contact for internal teams regarding partner activities across various functions.
- Monitor contract progress and provide status updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in tracking invoices and payments related to clinical supplies.
Support for Alliance Management Operations:
- Align with Alliance Management's objectives and initiatives to ensure team deliverables are met.
- Facilitate team meetings and training sessions to enhance processes and communication.
- Contribute to training programs aimed at developing cross-functional leadership within the Alliance Management team.
- Identify and implement initiatives that strengthen operational capabilities and enhance BeiGene's reputation as a preferred partner.
- Assist in project tracking, organization, and reporting to senior leadership.
- Support the development of Alliance Management systems, including drafting and finalizing standard operating procedures.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to elevate the Alliance Management team's effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience in related fields.
- Experience in project management within the biopharma industry, with a strong understanding of drug development stages.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in project management software, flowchart applications, and the Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Familiarity with collaboration tools is also advantageous.
