About the Role

We are looking for a talented professional to develop and deliver best-in-class shopper insights across multiple channels and key retail customers. As a Shopper Insights Manager, you will partner with the Director of Insights to develop and deploy the insights learning plan for sales/retailer teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead research projects from the insights plan, helping to outline objectives, identify information sources, and manage research suppliers.
  • Analyze results from studies deployed and proactively prepare and present unbiased, action-oriented recommendations.
  • Proactively identify key business issues specific to each respective channel/retailer and provide actionable recommendations based on research results.
  • Monitor and report on competitive activities and market dynamics.
  • Translate insights into strategic recommendations for product development, marketing, merchandising, and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to implement insights-driven initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Required, advanced degrees preferred.
  • 6-8 years of experience in consumer insights, shopper insights, category management, or a related field within the CPG industry.
  • Experience at large retailers such as Walmart, Kroger, etc. preferred.
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and retail environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS) and visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
