Kitchen Equipment Technician Job Description

Joe Warren & Sons Co., Inc. is seeking a skilled Kitchen Equipment Technician to join their team. As a key member of the company's service team, this individual will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and installing commercial cooking and food preparation equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and service commercial cooking and food preparation equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Accurately and timely complete assignments for all services performed, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Consult with the Parts Department to identify recommended parts and maintain accurate inventory.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, manufacturers, and colleagues to resolve equipment issues and provide exceptional service.
  • Define equipment problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions to determine the necessary work to be performed.
  • Provide the highest level of service to customers, promoting and recommending other services provided by JWS.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating passion and empathy towards customers and colleagues.
  • Must be able to use hands for fine manipulation of hand tools and be highly safety conscious.
  • Able to follow through on duties and assignments with minimal supervision, demonstrating excellent organizational skills and a self-starter attitude.
  • Background experience in gas, electric, plumbing, and/or steam, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial equipment repair or a related field.
