Job Summary

Joe Warren & Sons Co., Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Cooking Equipment Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and installing commercial cooking and food preparation equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial cooking equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Service and Installation: Install and service commercial cooking equipment, including gas, electric, and steam systems.
  • Parts Identification and Procurement: Consult with our parts department to accurately identify and procure necessary parts for repairs and maintenance.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of parts and tools, and ensure that all equipment is properly stocked and maintained.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their equipment needs and provide timely and professional service.
  • Problem-Solving: Diagnose equipment problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions to determine the best course of action for repairs and maintenance.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless service delivery and meet customer expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in commercial equipment repair or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift/carry up to 70 lbs.
