Accounting Operations Supervisor

Position Summary
The Bookkeeping Manager at Tamaroff Automotive Family will oversee the daily operations of the accounting and vehicle administration departments. This role demands strategic planning, execution, and comprehensive management of all accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, issue, organize, and manage all transactional documentation (including statements, receipts, contracts, etc., in both hard and digital formats)
- Prepare, record, reconcile, and report on standardized bookkeeping practices (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Human Resources, banking, regulatory compliance, etc.)
- Calculate, collect, remit, and report on various tax filing activities, including sales and use taxes
- Generate and maintain essential inventory accounts, general ledgers, and financial schedules (covering expenses, profitability, depreciation, financing, etc.)
- Prepare and audit regular financial statements to support organizational needs
- Supervise and manage departmental personnel to enhance bookkeeping efficiency, regulatory compliance, and reporting accuracy
- Maintain and improve financial gatekeeping policies and procedures
- Collaborate and develop organizational-wide workflow processes to meet operational demands
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Preferred experience in automotive dealership bookkeeping, with a minimum of 5 years
- Management experience of at least 2 years is required
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and high-volume environment
