Job Summary

The Accounting Administrator I Supervisor is a key role in the State Controller's Office, responsible for overseeing the activities of professional staff in the Tax Accounting Unit. This unit is responsible for managing files, accounts receivable, billings, and monthly reconciliations for multiple programs, including Estate Tax, Inheritance Tax, Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax, Insurance Tax, Technology, Trade, and Commerce, Petroleum and Gas, and the Cashiering and TC-31 desks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and supervise the activities of professional staff in the Tax Accounting Unit.
  • Oversee file management, accounts receivable, billings, and monthly reconciliations for multiple programs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
