Job Description and Duties

Under the direct supervision of the Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor), the incumbent will perform professional and financial accounting functions for the State Treasurer's Office (STO) and/or Boards, Commissions, and Authorities (BCAs). This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing and maintaining financial records, reports, and statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform financial accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and other documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Provide support to the Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor) in the preparation of budget reports and financial analyses.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
