Assistant Transit Management Analyst I-II/ Associate Transit Management Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Transit Operations Analyst to join our team at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our transportation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design, review, construction, testing, and implementation of the New Fare Payment System (NFPS) and fare collection system maintenance for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
- Conduct fieldwork, testing, and equipment inspections at the NFPS contractor's facilities.
- Collect and analyze data, and prepare reports to support operational procedures, administrative systems, equipment, and space utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain technical reports, charts, graphs, and drawings to support operational decisions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
- Knowledge of engineering standards and applicable codes.
- Knowledge of electronic equipment environmental testing and certifications.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite and software applications.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in the mass transportation industry.
- Knowledge of transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, or security management.
