ROLE SUMMARY
We are in search of a seasoned and proactive Senior HR Manager to enhance our client's workforce. The successful candidate will possess significant HR expertise at the management or director level, demonstrating a successful history of team development and personnel management. This role is crucial in shaping the HR framework, aligning it with the organization's objectives, and nurturing a culture of excellence and sustainability. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence a rapidly expanding organization.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role requires full-time onsite presence, five days a week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and direct all HR operations, including talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Manage payroll functions, particularly for hourly and contract staff.
- Design and execute strategic HR initiatives that foster organizational growth and sustainability.
- Enhance and refine HR systems and processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Leverage data analytics to inform HR strategies and decision-making.
- Develop and implement cognitive and performance assessments to aid in recruitment and employee development.
- Administer HRIS and ATS systems to ensure smooth HR operations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and hiring managers to establish and implement best practices.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that reflects the company's mission and values.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-7 years of progressive HR experience at the management or director level.
- Demonstrated experience in team building and management within a startup or VC/PE-backed environment.
- Proficiency in data-driven HR strategy and decision-making.
- Strong collaborative skills with executive leaders and hiring managers.
- Genuine commitment to environmental sustainability.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
- Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
