Program Manager

V2X is a leading provider of mission-critical services and solutions to the US Department of Defense and other government agencies. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional results.

Job Summary

The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing a large-scale program with a team of personnel, equipment, and customers geographically dispersed. The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics, engineering, and program management, with experience in managing complex programs and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Oversight: Assist the Program Manager of the entire contract, managing resources, costs, schedules, performance, and risk across the tasks.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to projects/tasks in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Day-to-Day Activities: Assist and advise the PM on day-to-day activities to ensure programs/projects and tasks meet organizational, client, and contractual goals and requirements.
  • Work Performance: Oversee the work performance of assigned personnel and prioritize mission tasks/projects as required.
  • Reporting: Update and report to customers on resource availability, delivered workload, and performance requirements.
  • Financial Management: Assist managing programs/projects with required resources, personnel, equipment, and facilities for geographically dispersed customers.
  • Alternate Point of Contact: Serve as the alternate point of contact for program/project matters for V2X.
  • Financial Management: Assist financial management for the contract in accordance with budget guidelines and schedules.
  • Utilization: Ensure effective utilization of personnel, materials, funds, facilities, and equipment meets the customers' operational needs.
  • Briefing: Brief senior client and corporate leadership on program status, successes, and challenges.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree from an accredited college/university with a major or concentration in Logistics, Engineering, Program Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Experience: 12-15 years of successful managerial experience on DoD programs and projects that provided worldwide maintenance, facility engineering, and logistics support.
  • Project Management Certification: Project Management certification.
  • Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge in contract management, logistics, and sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) and intelligence operations.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership in successfully managing complex programs with large numbers of personnel, equipment, and customers geographically dispersed.
  • Contingency Support Operations: Management experience in contingency support operations.
  • Information Operations: Knowledge of practical application of information operations for military operations.
  • Contract Fiscal and Business Management: Understanding of contract fiscal and business management, including the management of Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) efforts.
  • Microsoft Office and MS Project: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project.
  • Analysis and Briefing: Ability to analyze data and brief senior leadership.
  • Language: Fluent in the English language, including the ability to read, write, and comprehend relevant documentation.
  • Security Clearance: US Citizenship, Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) indoctrination.
