About the Role

Help At Home is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Strategic Growth and Development to lead our business development efforts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing strategic growth opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and developing and executing business plans to drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and research potential acquisition targets in the home care industry, utilizing various resources and tools to gather relevant information on companies, including financial performance, market positioning, and strategic and cultural fit.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of acquisition opportunities aligned with Help At Home's growth objectives, proactively seeking out and evaluating potential targets, assessing their suitability and strategic fit with the company's vision and goals.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including owners, executives, and advisors of target companies, effectively communicating Help At Home's value proposition and acquisition strategy to foster trust and collaboration throughout the deal process.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market developments to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats, providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on market intelligence and competitive benchmarking.
  • Develop and execute business plans to drive growth and profitability, including developing strategic market plans and programs to support acquisitions in designated market segments.
  • Identify volume and strategic customers, and develop partnerships to drive growth and revenue.
  • Develop and prepare presentations for prospective clients, and other business development opportunities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field required.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Business is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Development roles, with prior experience in creating and implementing strategic plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and engaging M&A/partner targets, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong strategy and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex business opportunities and financial statements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to deal with conflict in a professional manner.
  • Ability to effectively communicate externally as well as internally with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, Business Intelligence (BI) software, and Project Management software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
