About the Role:

This is a field-based position covering the Midlands and the South where you will generate new business within the pharmacy sector via consolidated leads handed over by the team's SDR.

You will be the accountable lead in the business for every customer in your territory, maximising the value of their client's products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influencing, persuading and consensus building to develop the profile of the business with customers and key decision makers.
  • Developing deep knowledge of the customers in your territory by using your wider knowledge of the sector to support the customers in the effective use of the product and services offered.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue growth.
  • Growing revenue through cross-sell and up-sell activities.
  • Develop the future lifetime value of our customers through demonstrable product adoption, customer satisfaction and other measures used by the business.
  • Client Relationship Management.
  • Provide expert advice and tailored solutions to meet client requirements, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Proposal Development & Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions to close deals and secure long-term contracts.
  • Record all customer activity using the tool(s) provided by the company.
  • Product a weekly and monthly plan for customer engagement.
  • Report weekly and monthly on customer activities, forecasts and opportunities.
  • Produce a monthly business report in the format required by the business.
  • Work to deliver against revenue and activity targets set by the business.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in business development with a proven track record in software sales.
  • Ambition and drive to succeed.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels inside and outside the business.
  • Ability to absorb and retain knowledge of the customers, their business and the market in which they operate.
  • A competent user of information technology, adaptable to learning new tools and techniques as required by the business.
  • The ability to influence through persuasion and negotiation.
  • Willingness to travel within your designated territory and beyond.

Package:

This is a field-based role so full clean driving license essential. Package includes a basic salary of up to £45k plus £20,000 OTE bonus, car allowance and a great range of other benefits.
