Operational Accounting, Tax, & Treasury Functions

  • Deliver daily support for operational accounting, treasury, and tax reporting obligations of the organization.
  • Spot opportunities for process enhancements and drive the creation of documentation to ensure the consistent execution of departmental responsibilities.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at maximizing the efficiency of the current accounting ERP system.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments on cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Financial Statement Preparation Functions

  • Compile financial statements in compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ensure the timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Aggregate company-wide results, supervise the annual financial statement compilation, and liaise with advisors for external filings.

Forecasting & Analytics Functions

  • Conduct monthly profit and loss reviews to uncover trends and business opportunities.
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of forecasting and analytics processes, including the preparation of management reports that highlight key performance indicators.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, with over 8 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or a comparable environment, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and automation capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with effective organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to cross-train and mentor team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
