About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Jobot, a leading commercial contractor in the Northern California region. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project cost and schedule, forecasting labor, material, and equipment needs.
  • Collaborate on and update Pre-con and Construction Master Schedules.
  • Participate in all stages of project development, from Pre-con to Closeout.
  • Draft, review, and submit monthly project billings.
  • Supervise all construction activities of assigned projects from start to finish.
  • Review and negotiate prime contracts and subcontracts.
  • Administer all aspects of the subcontracting process.
  • Process and manage RFI, Submittals, and Change Management.
  • Ensure quality control and project compliance.
  • Resolve problems as they arise from plans and specifications, unknown existing conditions, or conflicts.
  • Develop effective working relationships with Architects, Engineers, Designers, and Owners.
  • Provide direction, oversight, and work effectively with Project Engineers and Project Coordinators.
  • Participate in the career development of direct reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field of study.
  • 10+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager supervising project teams.
  • Extensive experience with public works projects, including ground-up projects in the $50+ million range.
  • Proficient in reading plans and specifications for all trades.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management software (Procore or similar), and scheduling software (P6 or similar).
