Position Title: Automation Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of project execution to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Prepare and update financial forecasts monthly, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and financial targets.
  • Manage contract operations, including coordinating meetings, defining project scope, scheduling, and maintaining customer relations.
  • Evaluate project efficiency and control operational costs while adhering to industry standards and contractual commitments.
  • Provide technical guidance and administrative support to team members in completing assigned tasks.
  • Plan and delegate significant project responsibilities to supervisory personnel; establish priorities for building and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with management on staffing decisions, including hiring, promotions, and terminations.
  • Advise client personnel on construction-related issues and potential challenges.
  • Coordinate with project coordinators for the procurement of materials and services.
  • Maintain communication with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors involved in new or renovation projects.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation to facilitate project management and oversight.
  • Implement safety protocols and collaborate with the Safety Director to provide necessary training and enforce safety practices on-site.
  • Ensure timely processing of project correspondence and maintain effective document control.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC, Controls, and Plumbing Project Management.
  • Preferred experience of 5+ years in managing large-scale retrofit projects.
  • Proficient in proposal writing, scope definition, scheduling, and contractor coordination.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills to manage new or renovation projects effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate with clients to resolve complex issues satisfactorily.
  • Experience working with diverse teams and professionals in the industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning proprietary systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in leading teams and working independently while adapting to changing priorities.
