Role Summary:

As the Project Director for our Water Restoration and Construction Division, you will play a pivotal role in managing and implementing water restoration and construction initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic planning, financial oversight, client engagement, and team leadership, all aimed at delivering superior results within specified timelines and budgets.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Project Strategy & Implementation: Formulate and oversee detailed project plans, encompassing scope, budget, timeline, and resource distribution, ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to grasp project needs, provide updates, and resolve issues.
  • Site Evaluations: Perform comprehensive site evaluations to assess project viability, pinpoint risks, and devise mitigation strategies.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project finances, including cost estimation, expense monitoring, and implementing cost-effective strategies while upholding quality and safety.
  • Procurement Management: Supervise procurement processes, including contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Safety Management: Uphold safety protocols and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Tracking: Monitor project advancement, identify deviations from the plan, and execute corrective actions to address delays, budget excesses, or quality concerns.
  • Team Development: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Reporting & Updates: Conduct regular project meetings, generate progress reports, and communicate project status, risks, and strategies to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Continuous Development: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in water restoration and construction management to drive ongoing enhancement.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: At least 5 years in project management, particularly in water restoration and construction, with a proven history of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong grasp of water restoration methodologies, construction practices, and relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Leadership Skills: Outstanding leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to meet project objectives.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, adept at managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in project management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to build and maintain robust relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
  • Safety Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and best practices in water restoration and construction.
