Position Overview

ROLE: Project Supervisor


STATUS: Exempt

REPORTS TO: Regional Director

WORKING DAYS: Monday to Friday


OBJECTIVE: The Project Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all landscaping projects are executed with precision, cleanliness, and attention to detail. This role involves timely completion of all tasks outlined in project punch lists, collaborating closely with Crew Leaders, Team Members, and Irrigation Specialists. The Project Supervisor will report directly to the Regional Director and assist in achieving the strategic objectives set for each property.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee maintenance projects, ensuring completion of punch lists, service requests, and site evaluations.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and Mission management regarding project status and updates.
  • Guide Crew Leaders, Team Members, and Irrigation Specialists to fulfill maintenance specifications, including grass care, weed control, trimming, and safety protocols.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Ensure client satisfaction by adhering to maintenance specifications and service quality.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and support to Crew Leaders, Team Members, and Irrigation Specialists in alignment with company values.
  • Submit payroll, invoicing, and minor project proposals punctually.
  • Prepare monthly reports on equipment and tool inventories.
  • Conduct monthly vehicle assessments.
  • Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new employees; plan, assign, and oversee work; evaluate performance; and address any issues that arise.

EXPECTATIONS:

  • Maintain operational safety, productivity, and alignment with profit objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A high school diploma or equivalent; a minimum of three years of relevant experience in project supervision or a related field, or a combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety guidelines, operational instructions, and procedural manuals. Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence. Capable of effectively communicating in front of groups of clients or team members. Fluency in English is required; bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred.


MATHEMATICAL ABILITY:

Proficient in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and to interpret graphical data.


REASONING SKILLS:

Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Capable of addressing problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.


CERTIFICATIONS:

A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record as per company insurance requirements, along with a state-issued Pest Control Applicator's License.
