About the Role:

The Education and Training Program Manager will play a pivotal role in developing educational content and overseeing the execution of training initiatives for the company’s medical products, therapies, and services. This position involves training healthcare professionals and physicians on Intracept's therapies to facilitate clinical research and product introduction. Additionally, this role encompasses the training and certification of field support through collaborative efforts to deliver impactful and measurable training programs that align with project timelines and exceed participant expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the creation and coordination of essential content that encompasses product knowledge, critical clinical data, and surgical techniques to ensure comprehensive understanding of Intracept's therapies among physicians and medical staff.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Reimbursement, and other cross-functional teams to support the launch of new products and sales tools through the development of thorough training materials.
  • Facilitate the execution and delivery of procedural training for physicians and medical personnel in support of clinical trial site initiation and qualification for ongoing and future studies.
  • Provide on-site support and technical assistance for clinical sites requiring additional training or education.
  • Engage with field teams to assess the need for new educational programs, materials, and hands-on training tools to address unmet educational needs for clients and staff; design and implement these initiatives.
  • Assist in developing and coordinating core content that includes product knowledge, key clinical data, surgical techniques, reimbursement, and relevant sales information to ensure sales representatives are well-informed about the Intracept Intraosseous Nerve Ablation System.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Reimbursement, Clinical, and Regulatory teams to organize training sessions, manage travel logistics, and liaise with physician faculty for all training events.
  • Attend key industry conferences to stay updated on clinical and competitive knowledge, ensuring training priorities are aligned with market demands.
  • Work alongside field sales representatives in a training capacity, focusing on developing the core competencies of new hires.
  • Mentor and evaluate field trainers to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Contribute as a valuable member of the Intracept Training & Education team, playing a crucial role in delivering high-quality training.
  • Ensure adherence to quality policies and regulations regarding product promotion.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an educational or training capacity within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors; OR
  • Associate's degree with at least 4 years of experience in a related clinical role (e.g., Nursing, Surgical Technologist, Radiologic Technologist).
  • Experience in minimally invasive spine procedures using fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI is essential.
  • At least 5 years of experience in medical device and/or healthcare sales, preferably in fluoroscopic guided spine procedures.
  • Experience in spinal cadaveric training is crucial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to interpret and visualize 2-dimensional fluoroscopic images in 3-dimensional anatomical contexts.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
