Position Overview:

The Professional Education Training Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the educational framework and ensuring the effective delivery of training initiatives for the organization’s medical products and services.

This role encompasses the responsibility of training healthcare professionals, including physicians, on the therapeutic applications of Intracept's offerings, thereby facilitating clinical trials and supporting product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the creation and organization of essential training materials that cover product insights, clinical evidence, and procedural techniques necessary for the proficient use of Intracept's therapies.
  • Work alongside Marketing, Reimbursement, and various departments to develop comprehensive training resources for new product introductions and sales strategies.
  • Deliver procedural training to medical personnel to assist in the initiation and qualification of clinical trial sites.
  • Provide on-site support during clinical cases, ensuring that supplemental training is available as needed.
  • Assess the educational needs of customers and staff in the field, designing and implementing new training programs and materials as required.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Clinical teams to organize training sessions, manage travel logistics, and engage physician trainers for educational events.
  • Participate in industry conferences to stay informed about clinical advancements and competitive landscapes, ensuring training content remains relevant.
  • Support the development of new hires by working closely with field sales representatives, emphasizing the cultivation of essential skills.
  • Mentor field trainers and provide constructive feedback to enhance training effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required, accompanied by a minimum of 3 years of experience in an educational or training capacity within the medical device or healthcare sector; or an Associate's degree with 4+ years in a clinical role.
  • Experience with minimally invasive spine procedures is essential.
  • A background in medical device sales or healthcare sales is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong customer relationship management abilities.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment with the capability to collaborate effectively.
