Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team at North Memorial Health. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for developing highly effective training programs, including the design of training documentation and collateral, in collaboration with our IT Classroom Education Specialists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop training programs for IT applications, including user guides, tutorials, and online courses
  • Maintain and update training materials to ensure they remain relevant and effective
  • Collaborate with IT Classroom Education Specialists to ensure training programs meet business needs
  • Participate in application testing to demonstrate quality assurance
  • Provide user support for applications as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare, Education, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in creating training materials or curriculum in a preceptor, mentor, or training position
  • Healthcare background highly preferred
  • Epic proficiency and/or certification in focused areas highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a complex information technology environment with a focus on application use and support
  • Minimum 3 years of experience utilizing desktop applications and collaboration tools
  • Familiarity with use of LMS systems for course assignment and classroom registration/attendance tracking
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, instructional design, and adult learning principles
