Job Overview

The Account Management Leader at Formerra LLC plays a crucial role in driving profitable expansion. The primary responsibility involves identifying and nurturing potential target clients through a specialized platform. The individual must be adept at assisting clients in resolving issues to provide effective solutions, while bringing energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism to their daily tasks. This position requires a self-starter who can operate independently with minimal guidance and interact effectively with peers at the managerial level. Frequent travel may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitable revenue growth, focusing on robust new business development.
  • Meet established gross margin targets as a percentage of total sales.
  • Approach the sales process with professionalism and effectiveness, utilizing customer-centric selling techniques and tools, including scorecards, business reviews, and CRM management.
  • Establish, monitor, and achieve new business objectives aligned with both short- and long-term goals for designated accounts.
  • Develop a contact matrix and foster strong relationships with key decision-makers and project facilitators.
  • Engage in prospecting and cold calling activities.
  • Formulate, execute, and oversee sales strategies, budgets, and expense management.
  • Create account development plans and leverage resources across both the client's organization and Formerra.
  • Deliver on planned results and develop account relationships to identify and capture service opportunities within strategic accounts.
  • Gain insights into key players, applications, trends, and needs within the targeted industry, becoming an expert in both industry and product.
  • Collaborate closely with regional sales teams and technical departments to drive profitable growth through solution-based selling.
  • Link the client's business strategies with Formerra's capabilities.
  • Monitor competitive activities to understand challenges and devise strategies to overcome barriers.
  • Implement Formerra's pricing and market strategies, negotiating customer contracts to ensure favorable returns.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, positioning the business, and refining the commercial offer.
  • Draft written Account Plans for top strategic accounts, including metrics to assess annual sales potential.
  • Manage strategic partnerships, cultivate new alliances, and track competitive movements.
  • Maintain CRM data and sales statistics as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Plastics or Polymer Engineering, Business, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5-7 years of sales experience in distribution, manufacturing, or account management.
  • Proven ability to develop high-level relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate customer needs into effective solutions.
  • Technical proficiency.
  • Professional demeanor, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of solutions, materials, and processing.
  • Recognized as a self-motivated team player.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel preferred.
