Key Responsibilities:

In the capacity of Facilities Maintenance Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Advocating and instructing safe work practices among team members while ensuring adherence
  • Upholding company policies, objectives, and values
  • Efficiently managing time and resources to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Supervising and executing on-site maintenance activities
  • Establishing a quality make-ready program to prepare apartments for new residents
  • Contributing to the community's annual budget by managing expenses
  • Preserving the physical condition and aesthetic appeal of the community, both indoors and outdoors
  • Ensuring cleanliness of work areas and safeguarding company equipment
  • Effectively communicating with management regarding any issues beyond normal operational scope
  • Engaging in a continuous maintenance and improvement plan for the community
  • Overseeing a follow-up program on service requests to guarantee quality and completion
  • Executing additional responsibilities as assigned within the maintenance supervisor role
Qualifications:

To be considered for the Facilities Maintenance Leader position, candidates should possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (technical school preferred)
  • HVAC certification
  • CPO certification
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance repair and service, including plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and electrical systems
  • A minimum of one year of experience in maintenance (preferably in apartment maintenance)
  • Availability to work weekends, after hours, and/or holidays
